Woonsocket Community Library

The Woonsocket Community Library will be closed during Christmas break, as it follows the school calendar.  The library will, however, open from 1:30PM-5:30PM on Thursday, December 27th, in case students and/or patrons would like to come in to check out books, return books, renew books, and/or take AR tests.  Any AR tests that are taken during Christmas break will go toward 3rd quarter AR points.

As the Friends of the Library Book Sale is scheduled to be on January 22nd, the library is always accepting book donations of any kind/genre. Please feel free to drop them off at the library during regular hours. You do not have to wait until January, but are able to drop them off at any time between now and then. If you have books to donate and can not make it during library hours, please email Sarah Lieber at Woonsocket.Library@k12.sd.us or call the library at 605-796-1412, and she will figure out a way to get those books from you! Thank you all in advance for your kind donations, and for supporting your local and school library!

If you ever are curious whether we have a book in the library or not, please ask, or check out our online card catalog at https://woonsocketsd.booksys.net/opac/wcl/index.html#menuHome .  It will let you know whether or not we have the book you desire, and/or if it is checked out, or currently on the shelf.

To minimize the need for lots of fundraisers, we are asking each family to make a cash donation. Some of us on the committee have indicated that we would rather pay a larger cash donation than plan multiple feeds, etc. We would like to have each family give at least $25, and would be grateful if you could give more such as $50, $75 or $100. Please send your cash donation in the return envelope you received by mail to 39833 233rd St, Woonsocket SD 57385 or give it to Luci at the school by November 9th. Thank you!
