The SDHSAA is attempting to gather
the economic impact data of our state events for the purposes of engaging local
chambers of commerce to explore ways to keep costs to families down and to
explore cost saving avenues for our member schools. We started this last year
with state volleyball and will end it this fall with state football. Your
responses are confidential and are anonymously compiled within the IMPLAN
Economic Impact computer program. No identifying data will be asked of you or
used within the study. We appreciate you taking the time to help us with this
undertaking. Your feedback is necessary and appreciated. If possible, please
take the survey as soon after your event as possible, as our IMPLAN license
runs out shortly after the fall season.

The Woonsocket NHS group is now accepting kids and teens clothing in the following sizes: Girls - S/M - L/XL, Boys - S/M - L/XL, Women's - S, M, L, Men's - S and M. Clothes can be dropped off in the school commons.

The Hanson Earlybird JH Girls BB tournament will be Saturday, Nov. 23rd at Hanson School (this is a later date than in the previous years). We are planning to take our JH girls BB team again this year.

Senior Holden Havlik of Wessington Springs is putting on a football camp for his senior experience.
