The Boys Blackhawks won their district semifinal game
against JVC by a score of 77-51. Helping were: Wyatt—18 pts, 9 reb,
1 ast, 2 blk Noah—5 pts, 2 reb, 1 st Shaun—10 pts, 3
reb, 1 blk Logun—11 pts, 2 reb, 2 ast, 2 st
Trent—6 pts, 10 reb, 11 ast, 2 st, 1 blk Garrett—2 pts, 2
reb, 2 ast Trey—23 pts, 3 reb, 6 ast, 1 st
Spens—2 pts We shot 30/61 FG for 49 % and 8/10 FT for
80 %. We had 31 reb, 22 assists, and 8 turnovers. Coach
Olson’s comments: The boys played with a lot of energy and
determination. We played some outstanding defense with only a few
possessions where we didn’t recognize shooters. Our offense had good
activity with 22 assists and we are able to score 77 because we valued each
possession with only 8 turnovers against their pressure. I thought Trent had a
great game as floor general for us and got the ball into scoring positions on
the court. We have a lot of momentum heading into the championship against
a very strong Wolsey team.
