3-09-17 White Day

Eligibility will be taken on March 20th this month.

End of 3rd Quarter is this Thursday.  Make-Up work due on Monday, March 13.  Report Cards will be printed Wednesday, March 15 in the morning for P/T conferences.

Games will be televised on Santel Station 3 and Mitchell Telecom Station 90.

**The Girls State Class B Tournament will be broadcasted on www.SDHSAA.com website. 
All of SCW’s games will also be broadcasted on KMIT.

1)    A send off for the Girls Basketball Players will be at 7:45AM at each school.

2)    A Conference Room at the Crossroads has been reserved for a SOCIAL by the booster clubs for SC/W parents/players/fans from 4:00-5:00PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. This includes a pep rally starting around 4:15PM each day.  The Booster Club Hospitality Room will be over-flowing with excitement and fellowship at the B’s. Free will offerings- Thursday- Pizza, Friday- cookies, and Saturday- meat/cheese.


3)    Tickets for Qualifying Schools. Tickets will be sold in Huron at the Huron Arena starting one hour before. There will be no advanced sale to the qualifying school.

4)       State Tournament Regulations for Fans. Sportsmanship/Conduct - Administrators responsibility. No signs, banners or noisemakers allowed, no jumping on bleachers, including any other rules & regulations.

A WELCOME HOME CELEBRATION has been scheduled for 11:30AM on Sunday in the Sanborn Central Gym.   Everyone is welcome and encouraged to show support for our Blackhawk Girls Basketball Team.

Yeti Cup Fundraiser

Display your school spirit with a SCW Yeti cup. Metal straws will be included. Cups are on display in Mrs. Dunn’s room

Music

We will have a combined band rehearsal next Wednesday the 15th in Woonsocket from 815am to 1045am
and
at Sanborn Central Monday the 20th from 815am to 1045am


Both rehearsals will be in preparation for the March 20th concert and the contest on Wed March 22nd.​​


FFA


SC/W FFA will attend District 4 (Platte) CDEs on Tuesday, March 14th. We will leave Sanborn Central at 7:50 a.m. and Woonsocket at 8:05 a.m.

Grades 5-12 Bowling League in Wessington Springs Bowling Alley every Saturday  3-4-17 thru 4-29-17  @ 1:00 PM.  Cost is $10/week and includes 3 games and shoes. Come on out and have some fun and learn how to bowl!
