CHESS CLUB

For any 9-12 students interested in joining the Chess Club, there will be a very short meeting Tuesday, October 11th right after school in the library. 

Flu Shot Clinic will be held October 13^th starting at 7:30. Letters and Consent Forms will be sent home with K-6th grade students to be filled out and returned. Flu shot consent form.  Flu shot Letter to Parents.

Dig Pink Night - October 18th

Jeslynn Moody is hosting Dig Pink Night on October 18th as her Senior Project. 🎗🎗

Attached is the t-shirt order form. If interested in purchasing, please have them turned into SC or Woonsocket school or to Jeslynn by October 5th.

All proceeds from the event will go to Sanborn County families to help cover medical expenses.

If you are willing to donate a silent auction item please message me or drop off items with Luci at the Woonsocket School.

Free, online tutoring available for K-12 students

South Dakota students and families can access a new, online tutoring program, staffed by college students who are preparing to become teachers. The Dakota Dreams Online Tutoring Program offers FREE online tutoring to K-12 students across the state. One-on-one tutoring sessions can help students with their homework, tackle specific trouble areas, and address broader educational concepts.

Flu Shots:

The Sanborn County Health Nurse will be offering flu vaccines to the public starting at 5:00pm on October 11^th during the volleyball game in the Woonsocket Library. No payment required at that time, but please bring your Insurance/Medicaid card.

DWU All-State Choir Rehearsal Day. Students attending: Emilie L, Acaiya S, Chase L, Eli F, Jalyn G, Tatiana R, Hannah T, Kelby L, Kyla T, Corey R, Dawson L. 

The bus will leave Woonsocket at 7:40 am and Sanborn Central at 7:55 am and will be returning at approximately 3:00 pm.  Students should bring music folders, water bottles, and money for lunch.

Chess Club Meeting - 9-12 students interested, meeting right after school in the library.

Red Day

FB vs Rapid City Christian @ Hart Ranch. Football players will be dismissed at 10:30 to eat lunch. The Charter bus will depart at 11AM from SC, 11:15AM from Woony and 11:35AM from W. Springs. 

Breakfast: Breakfast sandwich

Lunch: Chicken noodle soup, roll
