Flu Shot Clinic will be held October 13^th starting at 7:30. Letters and Consent Forms will be sent home with students to be filled out and returned. Flu shot consent form.  Flu shot Letter to Parents.

Dig Pink Night - October 18th

Jeslynn Moody is hosting Dig Pink Night on October 18th as her Senior Project. 🎗🎗

Attached is the t-shirt order form. If interested in purchasing, please have them turned into SC or Woonsocket school or to Jeslynn by October 5th.

All proceeds from the event will go to Sanborn County families to help cover medical expenses.

If you are willing to donate a silent auction item please message me or drop off items with Luci at the Woonsocket School.

Western Dakota Tech will be hosting a Career Expo on October 6th, 2022, for high school juniors and seniors, 8:30 - 12pm at The Monument - Rushmore 5.

Food Pantry/Feeding SD - October 5, 2022

The next food giveaway will be held at the Sanborn County Courthouse in Woonsocket starting at 4:30 (until gone). This is Drive-Through ONLY, one box per family. Click here for flyer information.

Flu Shots:

The Sanborn County Health Nurse will be offering flu vaccines to the public starting at 5:00pm on October 11^th during the volleyball game in the Woonsocket Library. No payment required at that time, but please bring your Insurance/Medicaid card.

Craft and Vendor Fair -- Saturday, October 8th

Woonsocket Community Center 10:00 to 3:00

We will have jewelry, Tastefully Simple, Usborne books, FitTeam, Gypsy Sky Rustic Arrow jewelry, Rodan & Fields, Mary Kay, Tupperware, Baked Goods, Pampered Chef, Scentsy, Norwex, Lipsence, Thirty One, Color Street Nails and homemade crafts including sewing and embroidery.

Wednesday, October 5

Red Day

VB Practice @ Woony

Choral Leadership Workshop at Northern State University. Students attending: Emilie L, Acaiya S, Chase L, Eli F, Jalyn G, Tatiana R, Hannah T, Kelby L, Allison N, Kayanah P, Kyla T, Corey R, Dawson L.  The bus will leave Sanborn Central at 6:25 am and Woonsocket at 6:40 am and will be returning at approximately 5:00 pm.  Students should bring music folders, water bottles, and money for lunch.

Scrubs Camp in Huron. The van will leave at 7:30 to arrive in Huron by 8:00. The students attending are Summer Beekman, Raily N. Munoz-Martinez and Whitney Hagman.

Breakfast: Breakfast sandwich on a bagel

Lunch: Cheese stuffed ravioli w/ marinara garlic bread stick

4-H Assembly - 2:30

VB vs TDA @ Tripp - 4:30 - 8, 7, JV, V. Note change in game order. The 8^th grade will play first at 4:30, followed by 7th, JV and V.

Cross Country in Parkston  @ 4:15.  Race order is JV girls, JV boys, Varsity girls, Varsity boys. Leave time from Woonsocket is 2:00,  pickup Sanborn at 2:15.

Breakfast: Breakfast pizza

Lunch: Beef hotdog on a bun, baked beans
