Mid-Term Grades
7th-12th grade 2nd Quarter Mid-Terms will end on Friday, Nov. 18. Final mid-term Grades will be due Tuesday, Nov. 22 by 9:00AM and mid-term reports will be mailed out to parents later that day.
Only 50 hats will be sold. They will only be available while supplies last. Orders will arrive the first week of December.
Free, online tutoring available for K-12 students
South Dakota students and families can access a new, online tutoring program, staffed by college students who are preparing to become teachers. The Dakota Dreams Online Tutoring Program offers FREE online tutoring to K-12 students across the state. One-on-one tutoring sessions can help students with their homework, tackle specific trouble areas, and address broader educational concepts.

Chorus Updates
November 15th: Junior High Region Music Festival in Platte
Congratulations to the following students selected to participate in the Region Junior High Music Festival in Platte held on November 15th:
Brinley Fuller, Millie Eichstadt, Kaitlyn Aldrich, Megan Kogel, Halle Linn, Maren Peterson, Rylan Eggleston, Nelson Terkildsen, and Dayton Eagle.
Please bring $7 for lunch to school by Friday, November 4th. Dress in concert attire.
Depart Sanborn Central at 6:25 am. Depart Woonsocket at 6:40 am. Return approximately 5:00 pm. There is a free public concert at the Platte Armory at 2:30 pm. All are welcome. Students bring music folders & pencil, water bottle, extra money in case we stop.
November 22nd: High School Region Music Festival in Gregory

Counseling CornerInterested in becoming a Certified Nursing Aid?
A representative from HRMC will be coming to talk with any interested juniors and seniors about an evening program to become a certified nursing aide in the spring semester in Huron. She will be here on November 10th at 11:00am in the DDN room.
