White Day

Cheer Meeting at 12:15 in the Pre3 Classroom for anyone who is interested in Basketball Cheer.  We will be talking about practice schedules, uniforms, rules, etc.  - Coach Schlicht

Oral Interp
The Woonsocket team participated in the district oral interpretation meet on November 2nd. The following students attended: Destiny Alameda, Emily Overson, McKenzie Baruth, Rain Swenson, Jalyn Grassel, Isaiah Schultz, Emilie Lindgren, Selena Alameda, and Bailey Feistner. 
McKenzie and Jalyn performed in the Duet category while Destiny, Emily, Rain, Isaiah, and Selena came together for a Reader's Theater piece. Advancing to the regional meet in Desmet on November 15th are Bailey Feistner and Emilie Lindgren. Bailey advanced in the Non-Original Oratory category with Emilie moving along in the Humorous category. 
All of the students performed amazingly well and should be proud!

Winter Golf League
There will be a winter golf league meeting for High School students held at The Back 9 in Woonsocket this Sunday (Nov. 6) at 6PM.  Sign up and free golf will be offered to try out the golf simulators.  You can bring your own clubs or there are clubs for you to use.  The league will be starting Dec. 4 on Sunday early evenings through February. A 2-man best ball format will be used so players will need a partner which is open to both girls and boys.  The cost will be $75 per student for winter league and spots may be limited.

Chorus Updates

November 15th:  Junior High Region Music Festival in Platte

Congratulations to the following students selected to participate in the Region Junior High Music Festival in Platte held on November 15th:
Brinley Fuller, Millie Eichstadt, Kaitlyn Aldrich, Megan Kogel, Halle Linn, Maren Peterson, Rylan Eggleston, Nelson Terkildsen, and Dayton Eagle.  

Please bring $7 for lunch to school by Friday, November 4th.  Dress in concert attire.  Leave and return times will be announced soon.

November 22nd:  High School Region Music Festival in Gregory
Congratulations to the following students selected to participate in the Region High School Music Festival in Gregory held on November 22nd:
Emilie Lindgren, Jalyn Grassel, Tatiana Roberts, Acaiya Schultz, Hannah Terkildsen, Kyla Terkildsen, Kayanah Peterson, Allison Nedved, Trinity Kotilinek, Eli Fry, Chase Linn, and Corey Roberts

Counseling Corner

The representative from Mitchell Tech will be visiting on 11-8-22 at 11:00 in the commons. 


Interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Aid
A representative from HRMC will be coming to talk with any interested juniors and seniors about an evening program to become a certified nursing aide in the spring semester in Huron. She will be here on November 10th at 11:00am in the DDN room.
