Happy National 4-H Week!
4-H encourages and rewards participation by the entire family. Youth enroll as 4-H members. Other family members help out as club leaders, project leaders, meeting helpers, --you name it. 4-H is definitely a family affair. Most importantly, 4-H families work together on projects and activities, attend meetings and events together and learn together through 4-H. In the process, family members learn more about each other through their involvement in 4-H. 4‑H empowers youth to be true leaders. True leaders are young people who have confidence; know how to work well with others; can endure through challenges; and will stick with a job until it gets done. In 4‑H, we believe true leaders aren’t born – they’re grown. If you are interested in becoming a 4-H member, contact our local 4-H Extension Office to learn more!
Happy 4-H National Week from the Town – N – Kountry Kids 4-H Club!
